It's a wonderful location deep in the mountains surrounded by trees and a stream flowing all around! The inn is fully equipped with underfloor heating, a dining room with a hearth, and a playful kitchen where you can sit and cook. From the Japanese-style living room with a fireplace, you can enjoy the large windows and the green scenery. There are four terraces with different concepts, such as the babbling terrace and the star-gazing terrace 🍁🌿 The bedroom also has a large window that gives it a sense of openness, and the semi-open-air bath is also unique and interesting. Hida Takayama refers to another historical area in Gifu. Hida Takayama is located in the Takayama City situated in the northern part of the prefecture, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Gifu. Many foreign tourists love the authentic atmosphere of the picturesque castle town. There are some old streets where well-preserved Japanese traditional sake breweries and houses, dating back from the Edo period through the Meiji period, can be visited. Most of the buildings are currently used as gift shops, restaurants, cafes, and other facilities offering several kinds of experiences for tourists. It is also a perfect place to enjoy local specialties such as Hida beef. There is a walking trail of about 3km in length, called the Higashiyama Walking Course through Takayama’s fascinating townscape and along the former Takayama Castle. Hida Takayama developed as a lively town around the castle, though in the present day you can only see the remains of the castle in Shiroyama Park.

The entire Hida Takayama is an attraction that cannot be missed when traveling to central Japan. This summer, I got an invitation to a restaurant that specializes in Hida beef, and decided to travel to "Hida Takayama" on short notice. My travel companions are my parents and daughter. My daughter said she wanted to go to the places that appeared in "Your Name", so we went to the train tracks, the library, and the shrine ⛩! However, there were no advertising signs anywhere, and it was just a surprisingly small sign that said "This is the place that was the model for "Your Name". It's so dull. There were not many people at the shrine, and it had a sacred atmosphere. Is this the shrine from that scene? I was deeply moved. While walking along the narrow streets in the historic district so happened to see Miffy Kitchen. The shop is made off wooden houses where you can get to find your favorite bunny if you are a fan of Miffy. They have lots of Miffy merchandise such as soft toys, key chains, mugs, umbrellas and etc. Everything is very adorable. It is a good place to get souvenirs for your Miffy's fan friends. Hida Takayama (“Sanmachi") is a popular sightseeing spot in Gifu Prefecture. It is also known as the “Little Kyoto of Hida”. The street is well known for the beauty of its lattice-lined buildings, along which waters flows through the canals on either side of the street.
