It’s the one of the biggest city in England and there are heaps of pubs and restaurants and shops in the centre. Good access to the airport and very convenient to go to anywhere in the UK. I stayed just for one night but had fun at a pub and watched the game with the locals.

The city centre of Manchester is not very large. It takes almost an hour to walk west from Piccadilly Railway Station to the west. It can pass through Oxford Street, Chinatown, Manchester Cathedral, Ferris Wheel and many more. Most of the buildings here are made of red brick walls, which is a feature of Manchester, and the University of Manchester is also known as the Red Brick University. Compared to modern buildings, these red brick buildings also highlight the vicissitudes of the city.
