Hongshan Temple Travel Guide

🌟 Highlights: Hongshan Temple and Hongshan Academy form the Hongshan Park, where you can climb up to see Gulangyu, Xiamen University, and Kinmen Er Dan Island, offering an excellent view. The park is full of historical relics, among which the Yanping King's Ancestral Temple is quite famous~ Wang Jinping once visited Xiamen and paid homage there. There are also many stone inscriptions by famous people. 🚉 Transportation Tips: You can drive there, with an underground parking garage entrance located in the corner of the temple. It's better to drive a small car, as the garage is quite low. Since not many people know about it, there are often available spots. If there's no space, continue driving to Zhonghua City to park. 👍 Most Recommended: It is recommended to take the elevator directly from the garage to the 5th floor, heading straight to the pavilion at the highest peak. This spot is a check-in point for many photography enthusiasts, offering good angles to shoot the World Trade Building, Xiamen University, and Gulangyu. The recently popular spot is said to give a Victoria Bay vibe~ looking through Minzu Road at the ships sailing by🛥️ (as shown in the third picture). I didn't capture that feeling, probably because of the weather; it might be better with the sunset or at night. If you want to take this shot, you don't need to climb high.
