Two-day Zigong Tour: Photogenic Route

I went to the Zigong Lantern Festival during Golden Week. I was quite unsure about my plane ticket, but going via Wuhan was the right decision. Departure was smooth. There was a long line to get tickets to Pudong. There was a direct bus from Zigong Station. I went to see the lanterns during daylight hours and was impressed by the intricate construction of the lanterns. The number of people started to increase after 8pm. Tomorrow is the last day. It's the off-season and the sun sets late, so is this an acceptable way to see the lanterns?
