📍Zhouzhuang (周庄): Kunshan City, Suzhou City, China 🚗It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Shanghai to Zhouzhuang 💵Entrance fee: 100 won ▪️Zhouzhuang is closer to Shanghai than other water villages. ▪️Tourist attractions: The twin bridges in the paintings of Simcheong and Jinilbi, the Changqing built in the Ming Dynasty, the Taoist temple built in the Song Dynasty, etc. ✔️Zhouzhuang, the water village called the Venice of China, was built in 1086, and it is said that the village was gradually formed when Sim Mansan (a 14th century merchant and tycoon) settled here in the early Ming Dynasty. ✔️The stone bridge, the water wall, the traditional houses, etc. are all so antique that it felt like I was seeing a landscape that could have come out of an ancient Chinese painting with my own eyes. ✔️I heard that if you don't take a boat here, the fun of coming to Zhouzhang will be halved, so I took a boat and went around the canal.
