Shanghai - Zhouzhuang Non-City Tour 4 Days

Day 1: After arriving at the airport, try choosing accommodation near Hongqiao railway station 🚉. Take a stroll around there and relax a bit because the next day we will go to nearby towns. Day 2: Start by taking Metro Line 17 to the end of the line, then take a short taxi ride to visit the ancient water town of Zhouzhuang, the old village of the great Jiangnan magnates. This town is a bit further out; after about a 30-minute taxi ride, you will find a peaceful and beautiful water town. Spend 1 day and 1 night here to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital. Day 3: When you return from the water town, you can spend the remaining half day visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, which is considered a must-see for anyone coming to Shanghai. Day 4: End with another famous temple in Shanghai, Longhua Temple. Pray for good fortune and perhaps follow it with a vegetarian meal as a way to abstain from meat.
