Escape the City Plan 4️⃣ | Putuoshan Blessing Plog 📌Zhoushan has always been one of the must-visit destinations on the list for people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. A P-type's plan is equal to no plan, so a J-type can only follow along on another impromptu road trip. 📍Putuoshan is located in the eastern waters of the Zhoushan Archipelago. It is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China, a famous Guanyin dojo, and known as the "Sacred Realm of the South China Sea". Putuoshan is surrounded by the sea and is known as the "Purest Place on Earth". 🏨About Accommodation I chose the Senya S Smart Seaside Resort Hotel in Zhujiajian, located in the Dongsha Resort Village, in the same location as the Westin. It's quite cost-effective, and the hotel has a great view. If you're not driving, I recommend staying near the pier. 🚤About Transportation Putuoshan is surrounded by the sea, so you must take a boat to get to the island. You can choose an ordinary ferry or a business speedboat. This time, I chose the business speedboat. The advantages are that it's fast and there's no queue. 🗺️About Activities Since the trip to Putuoshan was a last-minute decision, there wasn't enough time to explore the entire mountain. I only visited the main temples in the lower part. It's a pity that I couldn't make it to see the Nanhai Guanyin Statue, which will have to wait until my next visit. The biggest complaint is the scenic bus. It runs every 20-30 minutes on average, and even during the off-season, there are still long queues. Waiting for 30 to 40 minutes is common. Because there were too many people and we couldn't wait for the bus, we ended up walking the entire 20km and achieved our first 30,000 steps 😂
