Ningxia Zhongwei in spring

Spring comes much slower in the northwest than in the south. In March, the pear blossoms have not yet bloomed, and the crowds have not yet arrived. We gathered on the Yellow River in the off-season, taking in the entire wind and sunshine. Preserving the rammed earth wall buildings of the original villages in the northwest is worth a special trip in itself. The mottled khaki walls are in line with the desert, perfectly integrated with the landscape and yet simple and advanced. The wooden plank road leading to the Yellow River has golden reeds swaying. Climb up the ruins of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, wait for the sunset, and look out at the vast northwest scenery. Time stands still here The wind and the sand are free 🌿 Xipo Zhongwei Holiday Homestay The rammed earth house with an independent courtyard has a strong local experience. The soft furnishings inside the room are consistent with Xipo's style. It seems to have found the best fit on this piece of land. My favorite bakery in Xipo is that it is freshly baked in the Zimu Kiln. The coffee and bread are both excellent. Breakfast is now cooperated with the restaurant opposite. The environment is good and the categories are rich. ✨Tips In the off-season, some restaurants and shops are closed at the Huanghesu Fair, but you can get a very quiet "private" experience, and there will also be some discounts on room rates.
