The ancient city wall of Zhengding in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and the City Wall Museum

At the southernmost part of Zhengding County is the Zhengding City Wall, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a relic from the Ming Dynasty. On the inner side of the city wall gate, the famous four characters 'Three Mighty Towns' are written, because historically, Zhengding was known as one of the 'Three Mighty Towns of the North' along with Baoding and Beijing. The Zhengding City Wall can be climbed for free, and once on top, you can overlook the county town. Inside the city wall, there is also a large barbican and a Zhengding City Wall Museum. The museum is not large, mainly featuring photo exhibitions and records of the restoration and renovation of the Zhengding City Wall.
