For those who want to travel at their own pace

Affordable and very clean lodging without meals. There are very few places to eat on Aka Island, so if you can manage that, I highly recommend this place. The island itself is small, so it's only a few minutes' walk from the harbor and beach. The garden is beautiful and right in front of your room, so if you like tropical plants, you'll be excited. There were two showers and two toilets, and I was happy that one of the toilets was for women. There was also an outdoor washing area where you could wash off the sand after a dip in the ocean.
