Zagreb is the most important transport hub in Croatia: here Central Europe, the Mediterranean and Southeast Europe meet, making the Zagreb area the centre of the road, rail and air networks of Croatia. Zagreb is pretty affordable and convenient. It's not anywhere near as expensive as destinations on the coast and there's a lot of budget friendly restaurants, free tours, and accommodation. All the places of interest are very near to each other,i managed too see things and finished it by 2 days with slow movement . Foods are so tasty and not very expensive .Very beautiful city with beautiful architectures and statues around.
