3-Day Trip to Shangrao: A New Way to Travel!

Whether you're going to Mount Sanqing, Wuyuan, or Wangxian Valley, just follow the navigation and you won't get lost. 🧭 🚗 Transportation 1. High-speed rail: Shangrao Station is a major station with direct high-speed rail connections to many cities. Once you arrive at Shangrao Station, you'll feel like you're at a transportation hub. To get to Mount Sanqing, you can take a direct bus to the scenic area for around CNY 27, which will take you directly to the cable car station. 🚠 There are also buses to Wuyuan, which take about an hour and cost around CNY 30. 2. Self-driving: If you're driving, the highways are in good condition. The parking lots at the scenic areas are spacious and parking fees are reasonable, usually between CNY 10 and 20. 🗺️ Travel Itinerary 1. One-day trip to Mount Sanqing 🗻 Start your day early and head to Mount Sanqing. Take the cable car up the mountain, and we recommend the southern cable car. Once you're up there, head to Nanqing Garden, where you'll find the iconic Giant Python and Oriental Goddess rocks. The natural formations are simply amazing! 👍 Next, head to the West Coast, where you can enjoy the spectacular cliffside walkways and sea of clouds. In the afternoon, visit Sunshine Coast, and finally take the eastern cable car down the mountain. You'll have experienced the best of Mount Sanqing in just one day. 2. One-day trip to Wuyuan Huangling 🌾 Arrive at Huangling in the morning and be captivated by the Hui-style architecture and autumn drying scenes as soon as you enter the village. Stroll along the ancient streets and explore the unique shops. Have a farmhouse lunch in the village, and in the afternoon, visit the terraced flower fields, where different flowers bloom in every season. End your day perfectly by watching the sunset from the viewing platform. 🌇 3. One-day trip to Wangxian Valley 🏞️ Enter Wangxian Valley in the morning and grab a map at the visitor center. Walk along the main road, admire the ancient-style buildings on both sides, and enjoy some snacks on the food street. Have lunch in the scenic area, and in the afternoon, visit Qingyun Bridge and the Hu Family Ancestral Hall. When the lights come on in the evening, the entire valley is beautifully illuminated, and taking photos on the Moon Bridge is a must. 🎈 Travel Tips 1. Check the weather before visiting Mount Sanqing. The scenery is stunning on sunny days, and on foggy days, it feels like a fairyland, but some attractions may be hard to see. 2. If you want to take great photos at Huangling, go early in the morning to avoid the peak tourist hours. 3. Most attractions in Shangrao involve hiking, so comfortable sneakers are a must. 👟 Otherwise, your legs will be shaking on the way down. 🍱 Food 1. Shangrao Chicken Drumsticks 🍗: Available at the high-speed rail station and scenic areas, these drumsticks are roasted to a golden brown, juicy, and irresistibly delicious. 2. Yanshan Rice Noodles: Smooth rice noodles in a savory broth with shredded meat and vegetables. A bowl of this for breakfast will energize you for the day. 3. Qingming Cake: Made with mugwort juice, these cakes have sweet red bean paste or savory radish fillings. They're soft, chewy, and have a refreshing mugwort aroma. 🏠 Accommodation 1. Shangrao City: We recommend staying near the pedestrian street, where there are many hotel options ranging from CNY 100 to 500. You can also explore the pedestrian street at night and try various snacks. 2. Mount Sanqing: There are many guesthouses at the foot of the mountain, offering a peaceful environment. Prices range from CNY 100 to 200 in the off-season and may increase to CNY 300 to 500 in the peak season. 3. Wuyuan Huangling: For an authentic experience, stay in a guesthouse within the scenic area, but be prepared for higher prices starting at CNY 500. Guesthouses outside the scenic area are more affordable, ranging from CNY 200 to 300. ❗ Important Notes 1. Keep your belongings safe in crowded scenic areas, and don't lose your phone or wallet. 2. Summers in Shangrao are hot, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. In winter, the temperature difference between day and night is significant, so don't forget a thick coat. 3.
