Every step offered a new angle of the river cutting through cliffs thousands of meters deep. I stopped many times just to soak it all in—towering mountains above, raging water below, and clouds drifting lazily between them ☁️⛰️. Along the way, friendly locals smiled and greeted me 👋, offering yak butter tea 🫖 and small snacks. Their warmth made the journey even more special. By the time I reached one of the viewpoints, the sun was setting, painting the mountains in shades of gold and pink 🌅. It was one of those rare travel moments when words simply aren’t enough.
