Lijiang's secret place｜Live in a 200-year-old Naxi home!

The second stop of travel in 2025 ✈️, Lijiang! In Yuhu Village, Lijiang, I stayed at the Rensheng B&B. ❤️ A 200-year-old Naxi ancient house——Houyuan 🪵The current Houyuan is composed of 3 old houses. The designer is Tsinghua professor Li Xiaodong. The design style is simple, low-key, steady, and restrained. A sense of lines and order flows throughout the space~ 🍂There are so many wonderful feelings about staying at Houyuan that I don’t know where to start. Should I talk about the Dongba hieroglyphics first, or the friendly Sister Liu San, or the feeling of being home, or the scenery here... 🌾Coming in from the main street, there is a long and narrow stone road. When you enter the B&B and open the door, the quiet atmosphere comes into view. So, all time began to slow down at this moment. 🍃 🍁Sister Liu San took us around and introduced the homestay and rooms. I just realized that this place is so big and yet so small at the same time! The big thing is that it consists of three courtyards, and the small thing is that this B&B only has 10 rooms! The space here is very interesting, with a large public area and a beautiful landscaped yard with flowing water~ 👒 🌿This time I came to Yunnan, the itinerary was around Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I am now at the foot of Jade Dragon Mountain, so I have to mention the Naxi culture - Dongba hieroglyphics. I was very interested, and the homestay happened to have this activity. Sister Liu San personally told us about Dongba culture and Lijiang culture, which added a lot of cultural and tourism knowledge to my trip! At the same time, we also learned Dongba hieroglyphics, which are interesting and easy to understand, and a great world memory heritage. 🪷The room faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain🏔️. You can lie on the lazy sofa and quietly look at the snow mountain🏔️. It is a quiet and leisurely vacation, so comfortable! 💐 It is worth mentioning that under the landscape I saw, there is still the old house🏠 where the boss’s family👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 live. The modern and traditional old houses are interdependent. Dinner 🥣 was served in the B&B restaurant 🍴, which was a custom-made meal for the guests - cured pork ribs. The breakfast is rich and all are handmade by the B&B. In this fast-paced world, there are still people who insist on pure handmade! This persistence is pretty cool 💐She also wore the traditional costumes of the Naxi ethnic group, which was so beautiful! I also integrated into the local community. Standing on the second-floor observation deck, I took many beautiful and interesting photos. As expected, what is national is also global ~ National style never goes out of style ~ 🪵 In this homestay, you can watch the clouds roll by, the sun rise and set ~ and feel the nature and the snow-capped mountains🏔️. Live life slowly and observe your inner self quietly. Gained some strength, some thinking, and felt happy both physically and mentally ❤️. Finally~ words are not enough to describe all my feelings during these 2 days and 1 night✍️. The beauty and goodness of Houyuan needs you to experience it yourself. ❤️❤️
