"Sho-Hachiman Shrine" ⁡ A shrine in Yukuhashi City, Fukuoka Prefecture⛩ ⁡ At the recommendation of a friend who lives in Fukuoka, I went here for the first time this year ⁡ It is said to be the "God of Guidance" ⁡ There is no flower water fountain It doesn't feel as showy as larger shrines, but there are a lot of visitors and the parking lot is full of cars🚗 ⁡ The first thing that caught my eye was the size of the sacred tree🌳 I don't know how old it is, but it was very large ⁡ And the ancient lion dogs. It must have been exposed to the wind and rain for many years, but somehow it still has the appearance of a lion dog. There was also a wish bridge and a musubi ball. It seems that Sho-Hachimangu Shrine has a pair of owls, but I couldn't find them on the day. I hope I can see the owls when I visit again someday. I'm also happy that there is a large parking lot.
