|All your wishes will come true. 📍Sheng'an Temple was first built in the early Tang Dynasty. Liu Zongyuan, one of the Eight Great Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties, once wrote "Monument to the Unknown Monk of Sheng'an Temple in Yuezhou" for Sheng'an Temple. The current St. Ann's Temple was rebuilt on the original site in 1997. 🌟The temple has a mountain gate, Heavenly King Hall, Main Hall, Guanyin Hall, and Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda. Especially since the Wanfo Pagoda is built on the top of a mountain, when you climb up and look into the distance, the view in front of you suddenly opens up. You can overlook the beautiful Nanhu Lake not far away, and also see the vast Dongting Lake in the distance. There are five gates in total, collectively known as the Wisdom Gate. The couplets in front of the gates contain profound historical and cultural connotations. • Hall of Heavenly Kings: It consists of the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Bell and Drum Tower, and Sutra Repository. Inside the hall, there is a statue of Maitreya Buddha with his back and belly exposed and a smiling face. On both sides are statues of the Four Heavenly Kings, who are tall and majestic. On the back of the Buddha cage, there is a solemn statue of the deity Weituo. • Main Hall: With carved beams and painted buildings, and flying eaves and pointed corners, it houses three large Buddha statues including Sakyamuni, as well as statues of Bodhisattvas such as Manjusri and Samantabhadra, creating a solemn atmosphere. • Guanyin Hall: It houses the largest seated statue of the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Guanyin Bodhisattva in Hunan, covered in real gold. • Wanfo Pagoda: It stands on the top of Dagui Mountain, with eight sides and nine floors. The eaves are light and graceful. There are white marble corridors on each floor of the tower, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Nanhu Lake, Dongting Lake in the distance, and the whole picture of Yueyang City. ❌Notes 1. Burn incense first and then worship Buddha! ! Incense and candles cannot be brought into the temple, they must be placed in the incense burner outside the temple❗️ 2. When entering or leaving any temple door, you must never step on the threshold! ! Be sure to cross it❗️ 3. Remember men go left and women go right! ! Boys should take the left foot first, and girls should take the right foot first❗️ 4.
