I finally understood it when I visited Yandang Mountain! Yandang Mountain was formed 120 million years ago and is the most complete and typical rhyolitic volcano in the Pacific Rim. Yandang Mountain was first developed during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, flourished during the Tang Dynasty, and reached its peak during the Song Dynasty.
