Yu County's Matian Ridge, the locals also call it "Little Tianshan", but I prefer to call it "Shangri-La of Western Beijing". This place is so beautiful that it's indescribable. Here, camping, picnicking, walking, and playing can all help you relax and feel refreshed, as if you were in Europe. The tranquility and comfort are truly intoxicating. Matian Ridge is only 120 kilometers from Beijing, and about the same distance from Zhangjiakou and Baoding, making transportation very convenient. If you have a day trip planned, this is definitely the best choice.
