Nanxi River, a picturesque rural landscape

Nanxi River is located in Yongjia, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, east of Yandang Mountain and west of Jinyun Xiandu. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with many ancient villages. Nanxi River itself is also very beautiful, with a rural landscape of mountains and rivers. Shiwai Rock is a landmark of Nanxi River. A huge solitary rock rises from the ground, resembling a ship's mast, which is the origin of its name. Shiwai Rock is known as the "Southern Zhejiang Pillar of Heaven." Walking along Shiwai Rock, the surrounding scenery is beautiful. You can take a small boat and explore the depths of the scenic area in the green river. The stream is crystal clear, with red leaves floating on the water, quiet and beautiful. The boat moves slowly, giving you the feeling of being in a painting. Traveling in southern Zhejiang, I often feel that the beauty of Nanxi River is somewhat underestimated, and there is not much publicity, so there are not many tourists from other places. However, this may be a good thing, because the ancient villages are not so commercialized, better maintaining their original and simple charm, which is surprising.
