Located among a row of fish ponds, the Xirang Hotel is east of the vast Taihu Lake, north of the Shatanggang River, south of Zhushan Mountain, and west of the community market. Faced with this specific and diverse environmental texture, we tried to find a suitable spatial mechanism to respond to the four directions outwards and organize the space inwards, so as to evoke the spatial experience containing the local spirit.
