It also known as the Sakyamuni Pagoda, it is part of Fogong Temple and was built to house Buddhist relics and serve as a place of worship. The pagoda is a masterpiece of traditional Chinese wooden architecture, showcasing exceptional engineering and aesthetic principles from the Liao Dynasty. Entirely constructed from wood without the use of nails, it has stood for nearly a millennium, surviving earthquakes, wars, and centuries of natural wear.
