Outside the executive lounge windows of JW Marriott Yinchuan, the outline of Helan Mountain unfolds like an ink painting scroll before the floor-to-ceiling glass. This time, the mountains are not only the scenery outside the window but also inhabit the interior in another form. On the dining table, creatively designed black and gray mountain-shaped dishes are covered with snowy "frost," while orange pastries, stacked like small hills glowing like a molten sunset, rest atop the "Helan Mountain." The JW Marriott Yinchuan & Bairuiyuan co-branded all-goji berry afternoon tea condenses the poetic charm of the frontier Jiangnan into a tasteable art, thus opening the curtain on a delightful journey. At dusk, the distant mountains roll like frozen waves, veiled in thin mist, intertwining with the orange-pink glow outside the glass into a gentle dream. I toast the Helan Mountain sunset with a glass of wine, while the words on the window, "Gaze at the sunset over Helan, encounter poetry and the distant," overlap with the darkening sky outside. The silhouette of the distant ridges and city lights blur their boundaries in the twilight, as if only crystal chandeliers reserved for romance remain between heaven and earth. These are the ginkgo leaves and dandelions hanging from the hotel dome, freely scattering light spots that skim over marble patterns and cast flowing star trails on the spiral staircase. Every visit, I stay in this room with an expansive, unobstructed view, truly a place to stand at the peak and overlook all of Yinchuan. Immersed in the enchanting night, soaking in the bathtub while watching the city lights, then witnessing the sunrise piercing through the clouds in the morning, bathing both city and distant mountains in flowing honey-colored light. I love standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, watching the mountain breeze seemingly penetrate time and space, where the sharpness of Helan Mountain’s peak and the warmth of goji bud tea in my cup transform into a whispered secret crossing mountains and rivers. The cuisine at JW Marriott Yinchuan has always been dear to me. This time, I enjoyed creative dishes centered on goji buds and goji berries, pleasing to the eye and palate. Meanwhile, the Ningxia Tan sheep prepared by steaming, boiling, and roasting delivers a successive assault on the taste buds. In the Western restaurant, whether Western dishes or buffet, it represents the quality of Yinchuan. JW Marriott boasts a distinctive "sailboat" exterior design, symbolizing "setting sail," crafted by the internationally renowned design firm WILSON ASSOCIATES. To me, this skyline hotel is like a suspended observation deck, cutting Helan Mountain’s day and night into a private painting. By day, the mountains inspire the art on the dining table, where the sweetness of goji and the softness of mousse write the story of the land on the tongue; by night, it becomes a poetic chapter outside the window, intoxicating me with a romantic montage of mountain shadows and city lights. And I believe, I will return here again.
