OMG, fam! I stumbled upon a homestay with an amazing story. It's called Shi She · Zhuliguan. As soon as you step inside, you'll notice the bamboo theme. The overall design is minimalist and stylish. From the stairs and lobby to the rooms and even the toiletries, everything is related to bamboo. Staying here feels like living in a tranquil bamboo forest, which is super relaxing and pleasant. The owner told me that she has always adhered to the idea of "respecting nature and cherishing things." To make the bamboo last longer and prevent it from deteriorating or being infested with insects, she processes it into pieces, strips, and blocks, then steams it at high temperatures and soaks it in lime water. After this treatment, the bamboo can be used for a long time. Oh, and their breakfast is amazing! The Yibin Burning Noodles are authentic and satisfying. Besides the noodles, the other dishes are also delicious. I was so happy with my meal. After settling in, I found that this homestay gave me so many little surprises.
