I just came back from Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, and I was completely fascinated by this mysterious land! 🤩 🌈 First of all, I have to talk about the sky in this city. It is incredibly blue! Every morning, when the first ray of sunlight penetrates the clouds, the whole city seems to be covered with a layer of gold. 🏞️ I live in a small hotel in the city center. Every morning when I wake up, I can hear the clear singing of birds outside the window. I feel like I have been awakened by nature. 🏙️ Yaoundé's urban layout is also very unique. Although small in scale, each street is clean and tidy, with various tropical plants planted on both sides. Walking on the road, you can feel the strong African style. 🍃 I particularly like the local market. The wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and handicrafts is dazzling. 🍽️ Speaking of food, Yaoundé’s cuisine is also amazing! I tried local specialties like lamb stew and cornmeal pancakes. The lamb is tender and juicy, and the pancakes are crispy and delicious. Paired with a cup of fragrant coffee, it is simply a delicacy! ☕️ 🏞️ In addition to the city scenery, Yaoundé's natural scenery is also not to be missed. I went to the famous Logone National Park, which has spectacular waterfalls and abundant wildlife. Under the guidance of the tour guide, we also observed African elephants and giraffes up close. It was a great feeling to have such close contact with nature! 👀 In general, Yaoundé is a charming city. Both the natural scenery and the cultural landscape make people linger.
