I finally found the coolest hotel in Yantai!

The Westin Yantai: An Unforgettable Hotel Experience After checking in to The Westin Yantai, I was pleasantly surprised. It completely exceeded my expectations, and I just have to share my experience! Exquisite Common Areas, Unique Design The hotel, meticulously designed by CCD, boasts stunning common areas. The lobby, located on the first floor, is somewhat limited in size due to the building's structure and features a minimalist design. However, this is just a prelude to the real highlight. Upon reaching the executive lounge on the top floor, I was instantly captivated. Occupying half a floor, the executive lounge features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of Yantai's coastline. The tables, chairs, sofas, and potted greenery create a comfortable and refreshing atmosphere, making it my favorite spot in the hotel. The hotel incorporates a lot of wood elements. The spa's artistic decorations are made of weathered wood, and the room numbers are encased in glass-covered wood, creating a unique effect when illuminated. Each room number is truly one-of-a-kind. Unique Rooms, Full of Creativity The rooms feature a striking combination of emerald green and wood elements. The headboard, bedside tables, and TV cabinet all incorporate wood-like panels, reminiscent of the tables at Hotel Indigo (which adds a touch of familiarity). The natural aesthetic is truly captivating. The ceiling at the entrance is adorned with leaf-shaped carvings, creating a falling-leaf effect when illuminated. The tree-shadow lamp between the shower and toilet is a delightful touch, eliminating the confined feeling of the space and adding a touch of emotional value. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The layout is well-designed with distinct functional areas, allowing for comfortable movement. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The rooms are fully equipped with high-quality amenities to meet all your needs. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Excellent Service, Warm and Thoughtful The hotel staff is highly professional. From the bellhop who proactively opened the car door and helped with luggage upon arrival, to the receptionist who warmly handled the check-in process, and the lounge staff who escorted me to the guest room elevator, everyone was incredibly hospitable and attentive. Delicious Dining, A Feast for the Senses The dining experience is a major highlight of the hotel. The afternoon tea in the lounge was exquisite, with the fruit croissants being particularly delicious. The tea and snacks were also replenished promptly. The Happy Hour was even more impressive. I was surprised to find that the lounge offered complimentary abalone rice, which was incredibly tasty and unlimited. It was freshly prepared and served directly to our table. Although there weren't many guests in the lounge that day, a variety of hot dishes were available, including pan-fried sole and beef stew, all of which were delicious. The satisfying Happy Hour made the next day's breakfast seem less spectacular, but it still met our dining needs. Location and Cost The hotel is located in the newly developed Bajiaowan area of the Development Zone. Surrounding amenities are still under development. While there's no subway access and it's a bit far from various attractions, it's conveniently located near the airport. 💗Other Tips: - For breathtaking views of the coastline, choose a room on a higher floor near the executive lounge. - Don't miss the Happy Hour in the lounge, especially the abalone rice. - Plan your transportation in advance. You can use ride-hailing apps or consult the hotel reception for local transportation options. The Westin Yantai, with its unique common area design, creative room details, excellent service, and delicious dining, is highly recommended!
