The village lanes were lined with tidy homes and small community gardens, and the newly paved paths guided us past micro‑orchards, roadside markets, and cooperative stands displaying fresh produce.We toured cooperative farms growing apples, vegetables, and raising livestock within ecological systems that recycle waste and conserve water; it never felt contrived it felt practical and community‑driven. Farmers spoke enthusiastically as they showed us drip‑irrigated plots, young dwarf‑tree orchards under hail nets, and small apiaries nestled among fruit trees.
