Drive for 6 hours to explore the beautiful scenery of the "Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui".

🏵️The "Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui" is a popular self-driving route in Jiangnan. Although I have driven the real Sichuan-Tibet Line, I still drove the "Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui" in late autumn. 🏵️The "Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui" has multiple entrances. Choose the east entrance if you are coming from Suzhou, Shanghai, or Hangzhou. 🏵️Depart from Shanghai at 7:00 am and navigate directly to the "East Entrance of the Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui". After 4 hours, get off the expressway and arrive at the "East Entrance of the Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui" in Qinglong Township, Ningguo. 🏵️There are many farm restaurants along the east entrance where you can have lunch. 🏵️I chose to enter from the east entrance and exit from the southwest entrance. The whole journey is 110 km, about 3.5 hours. 🏵️The attractions along the way include Huiyun Temple, Qinglong Bay, Metasequoia Forest, Banqiao Village, and Taoling Liudaowan Viewing Platform. 🏵️I skipped Huiyun Temple and Banqiao Village and stayed at Qinglong Bay for sightseeing. The key attractions are the "Metasequoia Forest" and "Liudaowan Viewing Platform". 🏵️The lake in Qinglong Bay is vast and blue. If you don't participate in the paid activities, you can take a walk and take photos by the lake. 🏵️In late autumn and early winter, the red leaves of the "Metasequoia Forest" are beautiful. It is a great place to take photos. If you don't enter the scenic area, walk about 800 meters along the road, and you will find a wide and long viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Metasequoia Forest from a distance! 🏵️After passing through continuous slopes and bends, you will reach the "Liudaowan Viewing Platform" in Taoling. There is a large parking lot by the roadside. Climb up the viewing platform, and you can see the mountains and canyons in the sunset. 🏵️The "Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui" has a variety of mountain road conditions, such as sharp turns, steep slopes, and hairpin bends. Some sections of the road are narrow and difficult to pass, so you need to drive carefully. Car friends who have lived in the city for a long time can take this opportunity to experience the fun of driving on mountain roads. 🏵️After exiting the "West Entrance of the Sichuan-Tibet Line in Southern Anhui", you can arrive at "Taohua Lake" in Jing County for dinner and accommodation in the evening.
