The Shijiu Line is an off-road self-driving route from Shimian to Jiulong. It starts from the primeval forest on the edge of the Sichuan Basin and gradually climbs to the snow-covered Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Along the way, there are mountains, canyons, forests, grasslands, pastures, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and snow-capped mountains. In other words, in just one day, you can see all types of landforms in western Sichuan on this crossing route, and even directly see the King of Sichuan Mountains, Gongga Snow Mountain (south slope).
