The Grand Scroll of Tibetan Culture and Art Paintings of China

If you visit only one museum in Xining, it must be the Tibetan Culture Museum. The fourth floor is stunning, and the second and third floors are magnificent. Start from the fourth floor and work your way down. The Thangka on the fourth floor is very impressive! The second and third floors showcase various aspects of Tibetan culture, clothing, and history, and are worth seeing! The museum permanently exhibits 'The Grand Scroll of Tibetan Culture and Art Paintings of China,' designed and planned by the contemporary famous Tibetan Thangka master Zongzhe Lajie over twenty-seven years. It was meticulously created over four years by more than 400 top artisans from Tibetan, Mongolian, Han, and Tu ethnic groups. The scroll is 618 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, painted with traditional Tibetan techniques using precious materials such as gold powder, jade, and coral. It has been listed in the Guinness World Records.
