The 5-day itinerary includes one night in Chengdu and one night in Siguniangshan Town for rest before entering the mountains, while the 3-day itinerary starts directly from Chengdu to Siguniangshan and begins trekking to Muluozi Camp on the first day. The 3-day itinerary is more compact and demanding, requiring higher physical fitness. If you experience altitude sickness, there’s no time to acclimatize, so it’s recommended for experienced trekkers.
