Carry cash💰 and download offline maps in advance. 4. Listen to the locals! If they say no showers, avoid them—altitude sickness is real! 5. Many toilets here are pit latrines (wooden planks)—watch your step! 6. Disposable bed sheets are a lifesaver. Pack disposable underwear too—laundry won’t dry easily when moving daily. 7. Do you need a down jacket in June? Absolutely! Mornings and evenings are freezing! A windproof jacket is both warm and stylish. 8. Roads here are rough—new drivers, skip self-driving. First-timers, stick to main attractions + nearby spots if unprepared. Must-visit spots🌟 (We hit many, but here are the highlights): 🏞 Kangding Love Song Scenic Area: One of Western Sichuan’s largest alpine lakes—stunning on sunny days! Dubbed "Little Switzerland of Sichuan," it’s a photographer’s dream! Don’t miss it! 👒 Tagong Grassland: Picture-perfect, a paradise for shutterbugs! The vibe here is worlds apart from Chengdu’s gloomy plains. ⛰ Mount Siguniang (Shuangqiao Valley): Scenic buses cover the whole route! Highlights include Redwood Forest, Budala Peak, and Siguniang Lake—all breathtakingly photogenic! 🪨 Moxi Park: Western Sichuan’s famed "Alien Stone Planet." Dark-toned but surrounded by greenery—dress warmer, it’s chillier here! Don’t wait! Now’s the perfect time to go!
