Day 1 Arrival and rest (staying near Zhongshan Road is very convenient for traveling and finding food) Day 2 Gulangyu Island (Dongdu Ferry Terminal - Sanqiutian Wharf - The Most Beautiful Corner - Bagua Building [Pipe Organ Performance] - Pipe Organ Art Center [Listened to a huge pipe organ performance] - Longtou Road Snack Street - Haoyue Garden - Shuzhuang Garden [Piano Museum] - Sunlight Rock - Neicuo'ao Wharf - First Wharf) (It takes about 6 hours to walk through) Zhongshan Road (lots of great shops to visit) Day 3 Nanputuo Temple Xiamen Botanical Garden (Tropical Rainforest - Succulents - Zingiberales - Bougainvillea Exhibition) Xiamen University (make a reservation in advance on the official WeChat account) Day 4 Shapowei (Rainbow Wall, lots of interesting small shops) Sea Route No. 1 Jimei School Village (Jimei Archway - Wanda Plaza - Jimei University Gate - Shigu Road - Jimei Ao Garden Scenic Spot - Dragon Boat Pond) China City Day 5 One-day Tulou Tour (Nanjing + Yongding Tulou) Hegui Building - Yunshuiyao - Zhongxing Building - Huaiyuan Building - Qiaofu Building - Chengqi Building - Shize Building Yanwu Bridge Viewing Platform Twin Towers World Trade Center Note: This guide was recorded during a trip to Xiamen at the beginning of the year. Following this route won't be too tiring. Because I like City Walks, I walked all the way through Gulangyu Island and Jimei School Village. It would be easier to rent an e-scooter. The Tulou is far from Xiamen, but it's definitely worth a visit.
