Bell & Drum Towers of Xi’an 🔔 🥁

Rainy evening in downtown Xi'an 🌧🌧🌧 Bell Tower located in the center of Xi'an, at the intersection of the four streets of the east, west, south and north. It is the largest and most preserved one amongst the many bell towers left over from ancient China. The Drum Tower is closeby along the northwest of the Bell Tower. Both of them are called the “sister buildings” or “morning bell and dark drum”. One could walk along the streets of Muslim Quarters nearby tasting a number of delicious Shaanxi snacks and also checkout the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. ​#西安钟楼 #西安鼓楼 #october2022 #xian
