【Qujiang Flowing Drink】 The Qujiang Pool is surrounded by pavilions and palaces, green trees, and clear water all year round. Every time a new scholar passed the imperial examination, a banquet was held at Qujiang. The new scholars would drink and make merry here, placing their cups on plates and the plates on the water. The plates would float along the water, and whoever the plate stopped in front of would drink. This became a grand event, and the name "Qujiang Flowing Drink" was born. The saying "Thirty is old for a Mingjing scholar, fifty is young for a Jinshi scholar" shows how difficult the imperial examination was. "Year after year, people cannot come, Qujiang's misty waters and apricot garden flowers." Once the scholars passed the examination, they would naturally celebrate this important event that concerned their personal and family honor. The celebration was called the Qujiang Festival or Qujiang Banquet. Since the banquet was usually held in a pavilion on the banks of Qujiang in the Apricot Garden, it was also called the Apricot Garden Banquet. 【Lishan Sunset Glow】 Lishan is a branch of the Qinling Mountains and a hill of Zhongnan Mountain. In the past, the mountain was covered with pines and cypresses, and from a distance, it looked like a green horse. The name "Lishan" and its other name "Xiuling" both come from this. The Northern Wei Dynasty's "Hot Spring Stele" described the scenery of the mountain at that time: "Colorful clouds compete for green, green trees line up, fragrant winds rise in the morning, and evening clouds glow at sunset."
