Shanghai Gate’s Terracotta Army in Xi’an, China

📍Xian, China ⏰2016.02 I went to see the Terracotta Army in Xi'an, China with my younger sibling who was visiting China. Before that, I watched the variety show New Journey to the West in Xi'an, and I kept thinking that I should go see the Terracotta Army! They say there are fake Terracotta Army next to the real Terracotta Army.. We studied a lot and somehow managed to get there, but those who don't speak Chinese should be careful with taxi drivers and street vendors 😁 The Terracotta Army is the tomb of Qin Shi Huang that was discovered in 1974 and has not been fully excavated yet. The exact size of the tomb is unknown. Out of Pit 1-4, Pit 3 has been excavated. No one knows how much more there is after Pit 4. These relics are said to be quite colorful, but they turned black again after being exposed to air after excavation. I heard that after our science and technology develops further, we will be able to excavate and preserve the colors. The soldiers with a high degree of preservation are displayed separately in a museum. They are complete works without a single piece broken. In a corner, experts are working on connecting each piece. I am very excited to see what kind of works will come out of there in the future 🤗 #XianTravel #ChinaTravel #xian #terracottaarms #XianTerracottaArms #QinShifangMausoleum #hiddentravelsite #China #museumsnowadays #atthemuseum
