Pink tea in the mountains

#mytravelhacks The tea plantation in Wuzhishan area, is a tranquil day out. Walking through the village into the plantation there are wooden platforms for you to sit and enjoy the freshly brewed tea. The local guides will teach you about which leaves are picked and what their entire drying process is. Afterwards, while watching them brew the tea they do a little magic trick to make pink tea. The tea changes color from yellow to pink once a citrus fruit is squeezed into the brew. It is a sight to behold! The tea is delicious and environment is quiet, listening to the sounds of nature.
