Avatar mountains in Zhangjiajie

The famous movie ‘Avatar’ was inspired by the mountains of Zhangjiajie National forest, in Hunan province. Walking through the park, climbing and enjoying the view from the numerous terraces leave you with a mixed of emotions. The park is huge and you need at least 2 days to see the most important attractions. There are several cableways in canyons connecting the mountains, and one must-go attraction is an elevator entirely made of glass that takes you to the top of the mountain.
