Want to stay in a riverside masterpiece? Don't miss Wuhan Westin!

I randomly booked the R&F Westin Wuhan during my trip, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of my journey. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect – right by the riverbank. Taking evening strolls along the Yangtze River to Zhonghua Road Ferry Pier was just perfect, with Yellow Crane Tower and Yangtze River Bridge nearby offering spectacular open views. We booked a Deluxe King River View Room with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the river. Though the room facilities show some age, they're clean and comfortable with great value. Room highlights: • Spacious yet well-designed layout • Ultra-soft bedding for great sleep • Powerful AC and instant hot water system • Worthy praise for Executive Lounge: afternoon tea + light dinner buffet, open until 10pm! But my favorite spot was the 5th-floor Lane96 Rooftop Bar. Open-air seating with premium river views and stunning light shows at night! Tried their "Cool Fish" cocktail – pineapple-flavored, sweet and sour, lightly alcoholic, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Enjoying the river breeze, night views, and background music created pure bliss. Tips: • Executive lounge windows are spotless, but room windows could be cleaner • TV only has local/CCTV channels (no internet) – feels a bit "retro" • Food delivery only to lobby (no room service) • Bring a jacket for May-June nights with big temperature drops!
