MENJER LAKE, CENTRAL JAVA

Menjer Lake is located in Maron village, Garung sub-district, Wonosobo regency, Central Java. This lake is about 2 km from the sub-district capital. It is called Telaga Jerger because Maron village is actually a new village which was once the area of ​​the Jerger village. Menjer Lake is a lake formed as a result of a volcanic eruption at the foot of Mount Pakuwaja.
