The history of this cake dates back to the 19th century, and there are only two globally renowned brands known for serving authentic Sachertorte: Vienna's 5-star Hotel Sacher and the royal confectionery shop Demel. I visited both during this trip! Café Sacher This time, since it was evening, I managed to enter the ground floor seating without waiting in line. If desired, you can be guided to the popular second-floor seating, but it requires waiting, so I decided against it. The second floor is adorned with luxurious red velvet decorations and features numerous elegant paintings and interiors. While the second floor is highly recommended, the ground floor also offers a beautiful view of the illuminated scenery outside. I immediately ordered the Sachertorte and Viennese coffee. The rich and smooth chocolate coating melts in your mouth, releasing the delightful flavor of apricot. Enjoying Viennese coffee in this elegant atmosphere is truly exceptional. It became the perfect memory to conclude my trip to Vienna.
