A Comprehensive Guide to Visiting the Palace of Versailles in France

The Palace of Versailles is a must-see when visiting France! Its beauty is incredibly magnificent, and the tour route is straightforward, so you won't get lost. After security, you can pick up a map at the entrance. You can see Napoleon and the coronation, then follow the crowd to the Hall of Mirrors for photos (it's very crowded, but truly beautiful!). Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Plan your arrival time carefully to ensure timely entry. It's recommended to spend a whole day there, but if you skip the gardens, you can leave much earlier. Ticket price: 139€/person. Make sure to book in advance. Since I only wanted to see the main palace, I didn't buy a garden ticket (the garden is huge, and if you want to explore it, you should rent a tour cart, or your legs will be exhausted). I chose to enter at 11 AM. Transportation: You can reach it via the RER C metro line. Plan your route from your accommodation in advance, and ask staff at the station or buy tickets at the manual ticket counter (this way, you won't buy the wrong ticket). You don't need to rent an audio guide; you can download the app for explanations. Remember: It's easy to follow the route, but once you exit, you can't go back! Make sure to enjoy everything you want before leaving.
