There’s no entrance fee to explore the village, making it perfect for budget-conscious travelers. Wandering through the narrow, cobblestone streets, I found delightful cafes and shops offering local delicacies. The highlight of my trip was climbing up to the Doria Castle, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the village and the sea. The entrance fee is around €2, and it's totally worth it for the stunning scenery. Nearby, you can hike the scenic trails connecting Vernazza to Monterosso and Corniglia, each offering unique perspectives of the coastline. Don’t miss a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the small harbor or enjoying fresh seafood at a local trattoria.
