The most memorable moments of my trip to Venice were not at the famous tourist spots, but rather the times I wandered aimlessly through the alleys. Narrow streets filled the city, connected by small canals, and standing on a bridge, I could see gondolas gently swaying in the quiet. The scenery was so peaceful and picturesque that I couldn't help but stop in my tracks. The streets were so intricate that I got lost several times, but even that was part of the fun of traveling in Venice. Turning a corner revealed an entirely different view, with small cafes and artisan shops waiting for visitors. The more I walked, the more I felt why Venice is called a city floating on water. 📍Tips ✔️ Morning is better than afternoon for alley exploration: Fewer tourists make for a more leisurely experience. ✔️ Combine water buses (vaporetto) with walking: The view of Venice from the canals is a whole new level of awe. ✔️ It's okay to get lost: The alley views you stumble upon are the true charm of Venice!
