Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Valencia (Region) Initially a mosque, it later became a church until 1499 when Pope Alexander VI granted it the status of a collegiate church. Only the apse remains of the original Gothic plan, while the rest of the building is in Baroque style, having been completely remodeled in the 16th century by the Duchess of Gandia. It has a single nave and is a typical example of Valencian late Gothic. It has two doors, the southern one being the older.
