Ushguli, Svaneti, Georgia

Ushguli: Located in the middle of the Caucasus Mountains, this is the highest community in Europe, 2.1K m above sea level, and was recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site in 1996. There are about 300 people living there. The way to the village in winter is quite difficult. Drivers must be experienced and must consider the weather conditions, landslides, and rockfalls because the way to the village is along the mountain and some parts are not concrete.
