Zhaobi Mountain

Zhaobi Mountain is located in the Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area, 40 kilometers south of Urumqi City, in Banfanggou. Zhaobi Mountain is a majestic mountain range densely covered with pure Tianshan spruce forests. The mountain body extends in a northeast-southwest direction, surrounded by water on three sides, and has a pyramid shape on the side. It is the main mountain body at the entrance of the Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. According to folklore, Zhaobi Mountain got its name because its shape resembles the screen wall of the mansions of ancient nobility. Due to its unique terrain, it can exhibit rare natural phenomena such as a line of peaks appearing after three days of rain. The spruce forests on Zhaobi Mountain are tall and dense, the valleys are flat and open, covered with lush green grass, and the streams at the bottom of the valleys flow gently with cool and sweet water, making it suitable for developing forest health and vacation tourism products. The Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area in Urumqi is located on the northern slope of the middle section of the Tianshan Mountains, at the southern edge of the Junggar Basin, in the heart of the Eurasian continent. It is far from the ocean, with a dry climate that has the characteristics of a northern temperate continental arid climate, as well as vertical climate distribution. The annual temperature range is large, and daily temperature changes are drastic.
