The best hotel in Urumqi, without a doubt~ A must-visit when traveling to Xinjiang~

This Conrad is located in Shayibake District, above the Meimei Department Store. It was previously a Sheraton that has been newly renovated and reopened. The owner remains the same, and the building is still the same. When booking the hotel, I saw that this is the only hotel in Urumqi with a base room rate exceeding a thousand, so I thought there must be a reason for it. The hotel's location is excellent; whether you want to visit the Xinjiang Museum or dine at Hetian Second Street, it's just a starting fare by taxi; The interior decoration style cleverly integrates ethnic characteristics, with the combination of lobby floor tiles, stone, and wood finishes reflecting local cultural features through color and pattern◇ I personally like it very much; The lounge is very quiet, and the service is attentive, making it suitable for a cup of coffee and a sit-down. On good weather days, you can see the Tianshan Mountains; from the lounge to the concierge to the lobby bar, the service throughout the hotel is excellent. In fact, everyone we met in Urumqi was very nice and friendly; Opened in 2021, it's definitely a new hotel that needs to strengthen its hardware maintenance. In terms of software: BYREDO large bottles of toiletries, Hilton's standard JBL bedside speakers, and a mini bar stocked with Xinjiang specialty nuts. The comfort of the bathrobe is also good. In terms of service: The hotel uses an aerial lobby, with the first floor as the drop-off point. The entrance shares the parking lot entrance and exit with the downstairs mall. Therefore, the concierge service is a bit delayed, and there was no doorman to open the car door. However, the check-in staff's service attitude was quite good. The signage in the public area of the 37th-floor lobby is not obvious, and it took me a while to find the transfer elevator to reach the room. I was also asked several times by other guests in the lobby where the guest room elevator was, so I suggest adding more staff in the lobby. It was already 9 PM when I arrived at the room, and the night bed had already been turned down, which was a nice touch. The welcome fruits and snacks also had a strong local flavor. In conclusion: I can't remember how long it's been since I last stayed at a Hilton hotel. This time staying at Conrad felt very nostalgic, as if I had returned to the early days when I often stayed at Hilton during my hotel enlightenment period, with all the familiar setups and arrangements. Although Conrad is no longer in the top tier of luxury hotels in China, this stay was still commendable. The reasonable price, superior location, and attentive service were all on point. They also thoughtfully prepared welcome cards, Xinjiang introduction cards, and souvenirs. Looking forward to staying again next time.
