Several places you must visit in Ulm

1. The small German town of Ulm is the hometown of Einstein. Among the many monuments to Einstein, there is a peculiar fountain (search for Einstein Fountain on the map). Below the fountain is a rocket, representing technology, and above it is a snail, representing nature. The snail has grown Einstein's head, representing wisdom, and his grimacing face represents sarcasm, intended to mock human attempts to manipulate the natural world. Next to the fountain is the old arsenal, and Einstein was a pacifist. 2. There is also a Place of Birth, Einstein’s birthplace, on Google Maps. There seems to be nothing there, right in the middle of an intersection. Don't waste your time. 3. The most romantic church: Valentine's Day Church Right next to Ulm Cathedral, this Orthodox church actually has no direct connection with Valentine's Day or romance. The name of Valentines Chapel comes from Saint Valentine, a saint of the Roman Catholic Church in the 3rd century who is revered as the patron saint of lovers, so Valentine's Day is named after him. It is actually the burial place of the noble Rombold family. 4. The tallest church in the world: Ulm Minster Cathedral is a Gothic church (the second largest Gothic church in Germany, with a maximum capacity of 30,000 people). It is 161.53 meters high, the highest in the world. And it survived the war, which is a miracle. It's spectacular inside and out. 5. The most beautiful monastery library (one of them): Wiblingen Monastery Library Wiblingen Abbey Library, known as the most beautiful classical library in Europe, was built in Rococo style in the mid-18th century. It is indeed magnificent and quite stunning. Pretty nice place.
