Ulanqab - 10/10 a scroll-stopping destination

Ulanqabu is a small city a short train ride east of Hohhot - Inner Mongolia’s capital. Safe to say, it’s not the most interesting of places - but it is the gateway to one. Rent a car and drive a couple of hours north and you’ll be faced with a national park full of volcanoes you can climb around on and horses to run around and observe - the perfect spot for an outdoor adventure. 10/10 recommend the early wake up call to be here at sunrise - the place lights up and there’s very little better.
