Uchisar...

Located not far from Goreme. You can take a bus or a taxi. The bus costs 10 lira per person, and the taxi costs about 40-60 lira if you go by the meter. There are some sights to see on the way to Uchisar Castle, as well as many souvenir shops and delicious steak pizza places. The inside of the castle has shade and is cool, so you can visit without feeling hot even during the daytime. After visiting, come down to the main road and catch a passing taxi to go back to Goreme; it costs about 50 lira by meter, though it may vary depending on the location. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you come to Goreme. When you come down, if you take the alleyway instead of the way you went up, you'll find many cafes with great views... Having a drink doesn't cost much, so take a break with a juice while enjoying the view.
